What conditions are Microdermabrasion good for?
Microdermabrasion gently promotes new skin growth leaving a healthier, smoother, brighter, clearer and firmer looking skin.
- Congested skins with open pores
- Hyperpigmentation for an even and clearer complexion
- Stretch marks
- Acne scars
- Deeper frown lines and lip lines
- Skin blemishes from ingrown hairs
- Gentle exfoliation for tired dull and sun damaged skin
How many treatments will I need?
It is usually necessary to have multiple treatments over a period of time. Most cases require about six treatments but severe acne and acne scars may require more. This is variable and really depends on your condition. At the initial consultation you will be given an indication of how many treatments will be required.
Treatments can be done either fortnightly or every month depending on the severity of the condition. Most treatments take approximately 45 minutes.
Post Treatment Care
After the treatment the skin may feel tight as if exposed to the sun or wind, and you may experience some flaking. There may also be some marked redness, which will subside in a few hours.
It is advisable not to go swimming, exercise, or have any sun exposure for 24 hours. Makeup can be applied but is desirable to leave the skin clean and fresh for the remainder of the day.
Sunscreen is a must, and should be your primary recommendation when consulting for this treatment.
Mediiskin SunSkin – 100% natural, no preservatives, colours, or fragrances
MediiSkin SunSkin is by far the most moisturizing sunblock on the market, and a must for people with Pigmentation and Freckles.
MediiSkin SunSkin provides significant broad spectrum sunblock protection utilizing silica-coated micronized zinc. This is the safest sunblock ingredient available because it does not break down like uncoated zinc and it does not absorb into our system like micronized titanium.
*Mediiskin SunSkin is exclusively available from the Facial Attraction on-line store or talk with one of our clinicians at a clinic near you.
